Construction Information

Our normal working hours for construction will be between:

• 08:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Friday, and
• 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays.

We will not work on Sundays or bank holidays, unless otherwise approved in writing by the local planning authority.

We have appointed Equans to oversee the construction and delivery of the solar farm. Equans is a reputable company known for their expertise in sustainable energy projects. Their involvement ensures that the development of Birch Solar Farm will be carried out efficiently and with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

The construction route will come via the A30 Sherbourne Causeway followed by Lox Lane and the B3081 Shaftesbury Road.

How will the site be accessed?

The construction route will access the site via an access road off of the B3081 Shaftesbury Road which is currently used by farming vehicles associated with Park Farm.
